Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern use of the RMM mobile companion app and related RMM service. By using RMM, you agree to use it only in accordance with these terms and applicable law.

Authorized use

Use RMM only with workstations, projects, accounts, and networks you own or are authorized to monitor and control. You are responsible for commands issued from a paired device, including stop, restart, render, and after-render actions.

Licenses, seats and entitlements

RMM features may depend on a valid desktop license and its associated plan, seat count, remote entitlement, or update eligibility. You must not bypass or attempt to bypass licensing, seat limits, device pairing, authentication, access controls, or service protections.

Pairing and account security

You are responsible for protecting your pairing codes, license information, account access, devices, and workstation access. Pairing credentials and QR codes should be treated as private. If a device is lost or no longer authorized, disconnect or revoke it as soon as reasonably possible.

Purchases and refunds

The iOS app does not sell licenses or include a purchasing call-to-action. Purchases for supported desktop software or entitlements, if any, are completed through authorized external sales channels. Refunds and transaction handling are governed by the applicable seller's terms and applicable law.

Service availability

Remote features depend on internet access and service availability. Local features depend on the paired workstation and local network. We may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, compatibility, maintenance, abuse prevention, or service operation.

Your projects and rendered content

You retain ownership of your projects and rendered output. RMM processes render information and preview content only as necessary to provide monitoring, control, history, preview, and related functionality. You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to the content you process with RMM.

Acceptable use

You must not use RMM to gain unauthorized access, interfere with the service, probe or exploit security controls, automate abusive requests, distribute malicious content, or violate another person's rights.

Updates

Software updates may be required to maintain compatibility, security, or remote-service functionality. Availability of future desktop updates may depend on the update period or entitlement associated with your purchase.

Disclaimers and liability

RMM is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. Render jobs, workstation state, network conditions, third-party software, and hardware can fail for reasons outside RMM's control. You should maintain appropriate backups and supervision for production work. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Apple terms

When RMM is obtained through Apple's App Store, Apple's applicable App Store terms and license terms also apply. If there is a conflict that must be resolved under Apple's mandatory terms, those mandatory terms control for the App Store distribution.

Changes

We may update these terms when the product or service changes. Material updates will be published with a revised date.
